Development
We provide support for community-based groups and organizations,
group action, identification of community needs and the development
of services and projects.
- Promote a healthy community through
the empowerment and participation of community members
- Initiate
community projects and/or programs around health, poverty,
economic
- Move towards local, social and political action,
whether by mobilizing the community or by a community
advocacy approach
in policy-making or by bringing policy-makers and community
members together to address common concerns
- Aim at facilitating
community groups and individuals to "empower
themselves" in focusing on improving the collective
health of groups who are less healthy and less privileged.
